7.7.2011 official release of 9780 OS 6.0.0.600 , go to Blackberry downloads site and there vodafone.de operator has released the version for its customers , i am downloading it right now....

Does anyone know how to get the Bold 9870 to search for the contacts by First name instead of Last name?

It searches by any part of the name, including business name etc...always has forever far as I can remember.

Hi, I have downloaded and running it, running for 4 days without problems , battery is running fantastic 3 days (some 15% was remaining when i charged again) on average use, meterberry shows 3% discharge per hour :D , booting also bit faster.

Bootup isn't faster, in fact it's the slowest I've seen yet in in version of OS6...and I've run them all since the 1st release. I can't comment on anything else yet, except that I got a "failed to sync quick contacts" message. Yet another RIM OS6 anomaly -- they fixed a few of these known BES sync issues in previous releases, only to break it again in this one. Quick contacts aren't that important to me, so no big deal for now.

ok i meant faster to my device comparing the fact i was using 6.0.0.285 ( and for a day version 576) which use to take even longer boot up. Maybe not much difference from 500 versions on that regard. But from my side the battery back up has definitely gone up after this install of this version. Regarding other issues ofcourse I dont know much.
