Orange line 2
 

Hi -
I have a 8900 curve (aka javelin), with an orange tariff which includes line 2 (a 2nd number on the same phone). Line 1 and 2 can each have its own voice mail.

The problem is, when a call comes in the phone doesn't identify whether the call is coming in to line 1 or 2. I need to set up a different ring tone for each line, to anticipate either a business or personal call. Or at least have the phone display which line is receiving the call. I also need to be able to turn off one or the other.

Any ideas out there?

if you click the green phone icon, menu then options, then general, i believe if you set the "show my number" to yes, this will then show which line number a phone call will be coming into.

The "show my number" option refers to my number being shown at the top of recent calls list (when I press the green button it brings up the list of recent calls).
