Help: Torch Screen is Half White

My brand new Blackberry torch, less than two weeks old, has its bottom half screen turn white. its plain, paper white. what do I do> what do you think is the problem?

It sometimes happens when I sync my BB. You can either pull the battery or turn your BB to landscape and see if that helps.
