Re: Blacberry 8820 problem
It is the coverage indicator.
If you wish to turn off the Blinking Green light Go to Options > Screen/Keyboard and turn LED Coverage Indicator to Off. |
Re: Blacberry 8820 problem
if i turn off the indicator when i receive a sms or phone call the led indicator will flash ?
|
Re: Blacberry 8820 problem
Yes, you will get notifications for them (they will be red). However, the green blinking light will just not show.

Re: Blacberry 8820 problem
The notification will only flash for about 15 minutes. After that, if you don't check the phone, there will be no flashing LED.
The Facebook thing could be one of two things. First do you have a BlackBerry data plan? |
Re: Blacberry 8820 problem
i don't know what's blackberry data plan , i m a noob in blackberry this is my first day with a blackberry plz tell me !

Re: Blacberry 8820 problem
You need a BlackBerry data plan to use the BlackBerry as it is intended to be used. Without it, you won't have access to the Internet Browser, BBM, Email, Facebook, etc.
Call Vodafone and ask for it. It will be an additional fee. |
Re: Blacberry 8820 problem

Re: Blacberry 8820 problem
To use Facebook, you need a BlackBerry data plan. It will not work with WiFi.

Re: Blacberry 8820 problem
Not without a third party application. It has been a long time since I've used it, but I believe the app was called BuzzMe. Try doing a Google search for it.

Re: Blacberry 8820 problem
if i don'thave a data plan and i put a third party application on the micro sd card and then i install the apps directly on blackberry it works ?
|
Re: Blacberry 8820 problem
You could install them, possibly, but they wouldn't work.
