Bee-bopped into Walmart last night about 11 and was like 10th in line.. Snarfed up a 16gb WiFi version in black...

The screen is holy f'in wow!
It appears to be snappier / smoother / quicker than the iPad 2
No noticeable weight difference
The screen is holy f'in wow!

That is all... Did I mention the screen?

What's are your thoughts on it? I'm not a gamer but the A5X and the extra RAM does appear to scoot it along faster and smoother than the ipad 2..

Saw the iPad 3 this morning and as others have said, the screen is absolutely beautiful. Now, as to what I use my iPad 1 for.....almost exclusively used at work (on EAS) going from meeting to meeting mostly for email (and some surfing during the more boring ones). The BB9810 or iPhone 4 stay in my pocket. I only schlep my laptop when I am chairing the meeting and need the horsepower.

My wife and I have 2 B&W Nooks for ereading. Can't beat the screen for outdoor use.

I travel a lot. I use the iPad a lot on planes (and in hotels) to read Kindle books, browse the web, do email when I don't feel like dragging out the laptop. It didn't replace anything (except an older Kindle) and will never replace my laptop. It's just great for sitting on the couch, or in an airplane...

I returned my wifi iPad today and snarfed up a 16GB Verizon 4G one.. Woohoo
