Will BB10 have BBM?
 

One of the things I love about BB is the BBM, and was just wondering if anyone kind of in the know had heard whether or not BB10 would still have BBM? Watching the videos on the BB site, it does look wonderful, but they don't mention one way or the other on it.

A girlfriend that works for a cellphone company and knows I'm salivating over getting a BB10 texted me today. She SAW one! And got to play with it a little. Says it's sweet! She is a iPhone person, so that is a BIG compliment from her! She says she likes what she sees for features. Am so anxious now......thanks Daphne, she didn't know about the BBM,

also hearing that there will not be any more BB-Specific data plan.. just standard internet plan will be enough to access all the features of BB .. NICE

Where did you get that from? My guess is BIS and BES will still be alive and well and required.

BES won't be required for companies because it will work with Exchange and active sync just like iPhone and Android.

I've been trying to send 4 or 5 pictures to a BBM contact with my BB Z10. I can't get it to work. I'm able to send them using a text message format. Am I doing it incorrectly, or does BBM only allow one picture to be sent at once?

Correct - no matter which way you do it - it's one file at a time in BBM. Stupid limitation considering you can do it in e-mail or MMS.

With BB7 versions of BBM were users still restricted to one file at a time, or is this one of the foibles of the new BB10?
