4.6.0.237

I heard a rumor that it's out now for the Bold. ;-)

JSanders 02-06-2009 04:58 PM

Nope, not "out" and about, just in. :-)

Wirelessly posted

Man, I haven't even installed .234 yet and .237 is lurking about!

I hope the text issue on the home screen is fixed with 3rd party theme use. I'm still using .216 till they fix that.

adamli9 02-18-2009 06:50 PM

Upgrade went fine. Nothing new to report compared to .234.

Not sure what you mean? The text in some themes are quite small if thats what you mean but that is a theme controlled issue. Otherwise this 237 seems stable not much change over 234 that I see so far except 3g seems very strong compared to 234.

I don't care much about this specific bug but they say it is still present.

I upgraded to .234 last week and encountered this issue because I used some customized themes and the fonts on the home screen went crazy and overlapped each other. So I returned to .216. Too bad about this bug. Can anyone else also confirm about this bug????

dwella 02-18-2009 09:49 PM

I have never ran across that bug. I use free themes so are these paid for your having troubles with?

infernox 02-18-2009 10:16 PM

Both free and paid. Appears you upgraded, do you have any issues with it now?

dwella 02-18-2009 11:10 PM

Nope the only issues I ever had with the themes was font size which I found out was theme controlled but never the overlapping issue. So far I love the 237 the 3g is much stronger and the gps is faster and it poped 7 sats on me almost right away from inside the house.

Visual Voice Mail

Anybody heard anything about this BB visual voice mail. I got it to work today for a few secs on .234 but everytime i tested it by leaving myself a message it would notify me that i had 8 new voicemails. other than that it wored seemlessly for one test and then the next one failed. And the only way to get it was to manually call in w/o any on screen notification. Then i saw this new build(.237) was out so i figured that was the fix for this issue. just installed it and now I'm back to it saying I need provisioning for it to work. Now I gotta jump through that hoop again!

oggyz 02-18-2009 11:52 PM

I'm gonna install it...I have the problems with the messed up text too in .234 using themes. I'll let you guys know what happens in a bit.

oggyz 02-19-2009 12:32 AM

Just installed, no noticeable differences yet. The text problem for the themes is still there.

zkyevolved 02-19-2009 02:39 AM

How's battery life? That's my main issue. I'm on 228 right now, and so far it's been OK. I must admit, I just got my BB Bold! (w00t). So yeah, how's the battery life?
