BBM for Windows Phone
 

Has anyone made any BBM contacts on WP7 or WP8?

I tried to get my wife on, but she looked at the reviews in the WP store and told me it was too buggy and crashed all the time. I'm a little disappointed with BB when someone like my wife, who isn't nearly as tuned into to mobile tech as I am, will turn down an app based on bad reviews - real or not.

What the heck were the beta testers doing for them last month?

he said there were some delays at times, what issue are you seeing?

My wife's phone gets an alert (tone) but messages aren't delivered or read until she opens the app. It seems to be a similar issue to early builds of BBM for iOS.

This comes out opening out Beta Testing on a first come first served basis instead of allowing Beta Testers who have had previous relationships with BBM to do the testing :(

You would need a WP to be able to participate. How many WP users have previous exp with BBM?

Sounds like some of the issues that hit Android and iOS when they first had access to BBM. I'm sure it will all work out in the wash. I'm still waiting to meet a wp user irl.

I see them all the time, but I work 10 minutes from Microsoft.

BBM on WP looks good, but needs a lot of work to make it more functional.

MSFT is pretty far from where I work/play, and it's not like I am actually looking for them.

Yeah, same as what A and i users were saying at the beginning.
