Verizon Share Everything plans

Verizon Wireless Unveils New Share Everything Plans For Basic Phones, Smartphones, Tablets And More

What are your thoughts?

Re: Verizon Share Everything plans

I plan to sign up for it and move my iPad onto the plan. I pay about $130/mo. on a corporate discount for the 900 minute, unlimited message, 4 GB data plan, plus $30 for my iPad's 2 GB plan.

If I sign up for the 6 GB plan, with my discount it should only be a little over $100 total for both devices with more minutes and the pooled data.

Thought it was unlmt talk/txt included with all but the <300MB bare bones plan?

People with unlmtd data get to keep their plans, but have to pay full price to upgrade the handset (which can be expensive with the newest models (out and coming))

Like DC posts, if you are going to go for it, go big or go home.

EDIT: Whoever did that, you're awesome!!!

Feel free to use the report post button for crap posts.
I'm interested in these plans too and might be switching.

Well, I switched to the 8GB plan, and now have 2 more GB of data to share between my iPhone and iPad, obviously more minutes, and it will cost me about $120/mo. as opposed to about the $160 I was paying before.

dc/dc, just curious. The chart indicated access fees of $40 for the smartphone and $10 for the tablet plus $90 for 8GB of data, which would be $140 a month. You say $120.

Am I calculating wrong, is the chart incorrect or are they offering other discounts? Is that your corporate discount?

Yeah, 22% corp discount, but the delta in cost is the same.

Daphne, I have looked and looked and can't find the Report Post button. I am guessing it is in front of me, but I can't find it. Where is it?

It should be that little pink box next to the online/offline status.

Thanks jsconyers. I could have sworn I looked there, but obviously I didn't. As I said, it was probably right in front of me.
