how to auto start wifi at start up
hi all
I think I have my BB set up for UMA (in service status it says the mobile network is UMA) this is when the phone is connected to my home wifi network but in the top corner it only says GPRS and wifi.??? The problem I have now is that WiFi has to be started manually when the phone is turned on. the network settings are set to WiFi preferred but I cant get WiFi to turn on automatically at start up anybody have any ideas on how to do this? (I am still running 5.01 if that helps) regards Don |
Re: how to auto start wifi at start up
Hi! Did you get the wi-fi? If yes after saving the wifi go to manage connection >wifi options>Prompt me when manual connection or log in is required thick it and then check if there's the name of the wifi you're trying to connect with under saved wi-fi profiles and then click on the wireless name select Edit and then change the connection mode to Automatic. Hope this help? Please post review if it works/didnt so that I'll know your whether your problem h been solved or not. Thanks!
