reset handheld password
 

1. a BES user forgot his password for his 8700. How can I reset his password from the server console?

2. also if I want to re-deploy a used 8700 and it has password protection set and I don't know the password, how can I login to wipe it?

1. Right click the user in BlackBerry Manager. Choose 'Set Password and Lock Handheld'

2. Enter an incorrect password 10 times and the device will wipe itself.

I take it that you're new to being a BES admin? If this will be a major job responsibility of yours, you may want to consider getting some formal training, or at the very least you should read the BES administrators documentation.
