ALX and COD files
 

Our corporate policy is to disable Appworld and push out selected apps.
The problem is we are having problems with most third party apps will not work. Either the alx or cod files are not correct. Anyone else experiencing this type of issue?

Hi Jargo,

It really depends. I'm not a BES expert, but the cod/alx are specifically coded for various OS versions.

Also it depends on policy, I have seen issues installing a cod/alx from a memory card with a strapped down policy.

What kind/type of apps are you pushing out? Do you have MDS unblocked or blocked?

i am also having this exact issue with .cod and .alx files not opening on blackberry torch 9800...annoyingly open fine on iphones.
the 3rd party app is RSA app which i have to sign into vpn from bb, i can not generate RSA token codes until the .sdtid file is opened on my bb, but no matter how you try and get the .sdtid file on to your bb it does not support that type of file.
im hoping someone knows of a file converter or tool for bb that opens uncommon file extensions...?
