Blackberry messenger admin password
Hi
I have created blackberry messenger group and i was the administrator. I have set a password to make me an admin.. now i have forgot this password to make me an admin again on this group .. is there a way to recover the admin password for group? |
No. passwords are for that reason to keep others out.

but am the group owner now i have forgot the password and not admin any more .. what to do?

The only possibility is if someone else has the password.
When you create a group, you become the administrator for the group automatically. As an administrator you can delete pictures and appointments for all members in a group. Administrators of a group can also control membership of the group, set or change the administrator password, and delete the group. Set an administrator password To perform this task, you must be an administrator of the group. The password must be at least four characters in length. A member can type the group password that you set for the group to become an administrator. 1. On the Home screen or in the Instant Messaging folder, click the BlackBerry Messenger icon. 2. On the contact list screen, in the BlackBerry Groups category, click a group. 3. Press the Menu key. 4. Click Administration. 5. Click Set Administrator Password. 6. Type a password. 7. Click OK. Change the administrator password To perform this task, you must be an administrator of the group. A member can type the administration password that you set for the group to become an administrator. If necessary, click Continue. 8. Click OK. Become an administrator To perform this task, an administrator of the group must have set an administrator password and provided you with the password. 1. When you delete a group, items in the group, including shared pictures, lists, and appointments, are deleted for all members. 1. Start a new group. BlackBerrys are all about the security.
