3rd Party Applications...

I have a 7100g, and have (seemingly) successfully DL'd and installed WorldMate and CryptMagic to my BB.

If I go to Settings | Options | Applications I can see the applications on my BB.

However, I can't seem to "run" these apps. Where should they appear? On the Home Screen | Applications page? Anyone know why they aren't showing up?

My company does implement a Service Book; I asked our IT folks if it restricts the installation/execution of 3rd party apps but they assured me they didn't do that.

TIA (p.s. searched this forum for "third party applications" first, nothing)

Give this a try maybe the icons are hidden go to the home screen, click on the wheel while holding the alt key (half moon) choose show all if they were hidden you should see them now.

Thanks...just tried, all I see are "Hide Menu, Move Application, or Call Voicemail" as an option when I do this.

They should be in your "Applications" menu. Most get put at the very bottom of the list so you'll have to scroll down to the bottom.

Just verified that they're not there at all, scrolling down the page. Just the standard set of apps that the BB comes with. Tried the "Alt-Scroll wheel" and nothing, just the same menu that I mentioned above.
