If you loaded JT as a restore from the previous version, delete it from your BB, and reload from BeeJive :: JiveTalk mobile messenger - instant messaging to go.

1. Please don't type in all caps. In forums such as these, it is considered yelling.
2. Watch your language. Using asterisks doesn't mask the fact you using foul language.
3. Tell us what else you have done so I don't waste my time making a recommendation just to have you say you have done that. Details, please?

First problem fix is to remove 4.5 since its a beta software and install a legitimate software.

wats that and where can i find it ?

JSanders 05-28-2008 01:23 PM

You need to completely delete JT from the BB. Options > Advanced > Applications.

Fully reboot the BB with a battery pull while powered on. THEN, download and install JT again. Make sure you choose the proper version of JiveTalk.

but how plz put me on

jeremyckitching 05-28-2008 02:21 PM

I used to have this issue when I installed JiveTalk on my Pearl with 4.5 Beta installed. It seemed to happen when I installed JiveTalk and put the application icon in a folder. When I moved the icon out of the folder I then started getting those Null Pointer Exception messages. If I put the icon back in to the folder I had it in when I first installed it, it started working again.

Not sure if you have done this, but that is what happened with me.

its a slag word meaning thanks friend, buddy, and so on

juwaack68 05-28-2008 03:14 PM

Oh, kind of like 'wat' is slang for 'what'.

Nevermind, that's not slang after all.

audit 05-28-2008 03:47 PM

Remember, we're "old" and don't get that slang.
