8730 from Verizon
 

Got a call from someone within Verizon today telling me to look for the BB 8730 sometime in late September. That is ALL the new I have at this time

8703e, not 8730....

not sure about the "e". I suppose it is possible though.

I said that months ago, but as usual, just like it is in my own home, no one listens to me(n) (n) :razz: :razz:

Latest I have from my sources is 3rd to 4th week of September. And its an 8703.

To be excited or not to be excited...

In NYC:
8703 for Verizon or (end my contract) Blackberry Stealth for T-Mobile...

the e in 8703e probably stands for EVDO, the g in 8700g stands for GSM, the i in 8702i stands for iDEN.

And then the rest are carrier specific models, r for rogers, c for cingular, v for vodafone, t for t-mobile, etc.

There is no 8700t, T-Mobile uses the 8700g

Yes I saw your post, and the only thing you used to back up your statement was a picture of a 8700v, with CDMA written on the back of it. In the end the only thing we have is one person saying their contact said look for a phone in September, but still nothing concrete. I will wait and see.

7105t.. he ment BB wide, not just 8700 series...

the g at the end stantds for global. which means any provider can use it. other letters are provider specific.

No, g stands for Global.

So are there any pics of this new 8703e? can't find anything anywhere.

what do you need a picture for? we all know what the 8700 series look like...i've seen it, it's black...and it feels sturdy...probably lighter than my 8700c surprisingly, (it is going to be called the 8703e, btw, because of ev-do)...

Okay, so why should we believe you again? You have basically posted nothing really new about the device...I mean I could of said it is black, Verizons 7130 is black. You need to come up with something better than that.
