Set Password and Lock Handheld Option

I am running BES 4.1.5.26. If I use the option Set Password and Lock Handheld, the Blackberry I chose does lock and requires a password, however, each time that Blackberry is powered off and on, it asks for a password. How do you clear this?

If you set a password, then it is working as designed. The only way to clear this would to disable the password on the device.
