Blackberry Bold 9790 "Initialization failed"
 

Hi, please a blackberry 9790 could not connect to the mobile operator network, what shows where the network carrier name is supposed to be shown is "Initialization Failed" I've done upgrades and downgrades but it could not fix it, please help on what to do to fix it. Thanks.

What was the last thing that was done to it before it stopped working?

Not sure, its my younger brother that was using it, maybe he download an application or so!

Looks like the SIM is not recognized by the carrier or is defective.
Did you read the link that NJ posted?
