Recover Autotext (Word Substitution)

Dear All,
I am looking for some expert help.

I replaced by Bold 9000 with a Curve 9300 all details transfered as expected including Autotext (now renamed to Word Substitution - WS).

All worked fine for about 2-weeks and then yesterday OS was updated to bundle 2475.

Now WS has reset to standard (all of my 200 entries have gone). I have tried to restore from previous backups nothing worked (I can't recover from a Bold 9000 backups as Autotext entry is greyed out).

Last few backup entries all say 4 entries in WS database (it should be ~200).

Please can anyone help me to recover my autotext entries?

Tal

Once they are gone, you have to rebuild them :(

I found an app that backs up your AutoText entries, though. So, this won't happen to you again, as long as you remmember to use the backup app before you update the OS again :) and restore the backup once the new OS is installed.

Here it is....

I've downloaded the back-up programme and it appears to work as advertised. Many thanks Wolf.

It is a shame that BB didn't sort this out as part of their normal process!

Now just to try and remember to back-up when I update (oh and to re-populate my autotexts!)
