Protecting ports on Blackberry

Is there any way a hacker can access the ports on a Blackberry ?

I am concerned that the Blackberry Firewall on my 9800 Torch gives me the functionality to block certain types of messages but does not give me any functionality for controlling the individual ports on the device. I want to block access to any port which is not being used to make phone calls. I am very concerned that a hacker can gain access to my device via an open port. Are there any tools by which i can specifically control the io ports on my device ?

No BlackBerry has ever been hacked. And that's not for lack of trying. BlackBerry is world famous for their security. You cannot control the ports but nobody has ever needed to.
