Will be possible to unlock the BB Bold?
 

Hello.
I'm in Venezuela, I want to buy a BB and I'm considering two options:
BB 8320 GSM (I know I can find it unlocked) and BB Bold, but I don't know if it will be available unlocked.
Does any one knows if the BB Bold will be available unlocked, because if not I will buy the 8230?

Why of course it will. I suspect it would be available on eBay for a handsome price with in days after release.

It will not come from RIM unlocked but there are people who are licking their money hungry lips waiting to get this device in hand for unlocking.!

You will be able to unlock the Bold for use on other carriers. I doubt seriously you will be able purchase one new unlocked from a carrier, though.

www.horizonwirelessonline.com has already unlocked at least one. So yes, it is possible.

Your cellphone carrier might be able to unlock it, or there are many other unlocking services around... GSMphonesource.com is pretty quick, usally within 24 hours
