BES 5 - Broke Blackberry Administration Service by tinkering with IIS certificates

Hello.

This is in our development environment so I could blow it away and start over but there must be a fix.

As you may know when you launch the BAS web interface it asks you to accept the invalid certificate. To try to get rid of this, our team went to IIS and installed one of our self signed certificates. BAS stopped working so we rebooted. Problem still there. We removed our certificate but the damage was done, it will not load any SSL web page. I've shown that I can load a normal web page on port 80 no problem so it's just ssl.

I've uninstalled BES 5.0, re installed it with the same database (there are test users actively using devices on this server so I couldn't just start fresh at the moment) but the problem is still there.

I also installed just BAS on another machine but it also has the problem. What we did must have changed something in the database for it to still not work even if we installed it on another server.

When you try https: on the BES server you get "IE cannot display the webpage. For http:, it will display a page.

Anyone with knowledge of IIS certs and how BAS is connected to them may be able to help me, but we may have tinkered a bit too much on this one :) Good thing it's DEV. Any help is appreciated

BAS doesn't use IIS.

If you stop the World Wide Web Publishing service and then restart the BAS services does it work?
