suitable black berry devices to purchase for testing when doing application developme
 

Hi,

Am using a mac environment for Blackberry Java application development.
I am able to compile and package the applications.

I am having trouble running the simulator on mac.

The docs say that simulator is not supported on mac.

Please suggest suitable black berry devices to purchase for testing when doing application development for blackberry with mac.

I'd go for something that runs OS5 or OS6. Best to use whatever your target audience uses.

I wish it were that easy for me.
Have been asked to do some skill building in blackberry as part of my job.
Am using an environment which is mac based so cant use the simulators.
Our windows environment has many other company wide restrictions which are not easy to overcome- install rights, firewall restrictions.
Its easier for me to get company to purchase a few black berry devices for doing testing.
So need to choose enough devices that allow as many aspects of blackberry to be tested as is feasible.

Am looking for information in this format.
Device name, blackberry fatures/cncepts that can be tested using this device.
