please help me i have a problem in BB 8220
 
hello all respected members of this forum i need your help guys i have blackberry pearl 8220 and the problem is that the stand by time of my blackberry is only 8 hours to 9 hours i tried new battery but same problem i hope anyone help me here:cry::cry::cry:

This is typical if you have a lot of data hungery apps running in the background. My torch, even with no voice calls or user activity, only lives for 5 hours before croaking.

i erased my all application data there is no application data in my Blackberry i reinstalled my os recently 2 days ago

Did you remove the applications or just data? Data has little to do with it, its the apps that cause the problem. Nd if you are in a signal fringe area, the device is constantly searching for a good signal which also eats battery.

well i am not experienced in technical issues but u can try switching off the bluetooth and wire less when ur not using them just go to "menu>manage connections" u can see the wi-fi and bluetooth status if its checked green then it means ur connected. switching off these two will help elongate the battery life.

Hi Shaikh... it's jonahhugo... i have gone through the all suggestions here.. and i came to know that you should reinstall its operating system.. i think it would recover its position..
