Bricked my Curve... Mac DM to the rescue?

Help--I unplugged my T-Mobile 8310 Curve during an update and now it just has a double flashing red light.

Can I fix it on my mac? I tried running JL_cmder on Parallels but it didn't work for some reason.

Any advice much appreciated, I'd love to have a phone!

Pull the battery for 1min. Re-insert Battery and then while it's trying to boot plug-in to Mac with supplied USB Cable. By the time Desktop Manager for Mac loads [ensure you have this installed already; 2.0 is the best: got this to work with 9700 & 8820]

Use Device Options or in Applications to Get Updates or look for updates. this should present firmwares that are ALREADY officially rolled out by your provider and directly in Desktop Manager for Mac for download an install.

I'd hit the 'thumbs up' but it doesn't show when using a phone, thanks for the info.
