Video to mp4 convertor

If anyone is looking to convert video to run on Blackberry (mp4)

I have been using any video convertor for over two years and it's very good

As well as converting most video formats to mp4, it can also rip You Tube to Mp4 on the fly and even rip mp3 sound only from video

Even better it's free

I've posted a sample video clip you might like to check out for quality

let me know what you think

Looks pretty cool. I think I'll give it a try. Thanks! (y)

I've been using it for a bit longer, and you're right, to a point.
I've found that for short videos, its ok. But for 30 minute shows, or movies, the sync is usually off even after changing the audio/visual sync setting to its highest.
But for a free app, it is ok.

I've converted couple full length movies before and it was fine - but that was on LG not BB

I just used it to convert a full length movie to mp4. Seems to work pretty well and plays fine on my 9000. Thanks for sharing.

Chris K -- I'm looking at your sample clip and it's playing extremely well on my 9700. Can you give me details of exactly what process and specific files you used to convert this clip?

My favorite thing to do with my BB is ripping TV episodes from DVD to watch on work breaks [ahem]. I'm using Xilisoft DVD to 3GP converter right now, and while the picture res is excellent, soundtrack sync is terrible. I'd be delighted to find something better...

I used 'Any Video Converter' (the free version)

I converted it from a TV series 'Cold Lazarus' 6 x 1 hour episodes I have as .avi files

With Any Video you can use number of settings so I included the settings I used on the webpage I posted 'Blackberry mp4 sampling settings'

the settings are for 8500 so your 9700 may stand bit better encoding

Okay, I gave it a try...and it worked very well...pretty fast too. I'll have to watch a while to get a good feel for sound sync [I don't think it's quite 100%, but close].;-)

Thanks for the tip...I wish I had discovered this before I spent $35+ on Xilisoft...

I'm getting that the link is no longer available. Can you post a link so that I can see if this works on my 8530?

Yes, can you please repost it? Also, does it have a version for the Mac?

Nobody uses Super anymore? Personally I'm on Mac so I use QuickTime Pro or iMovie; depending on the quality I require.
