Blackberry Desktop Manager Error
 

My Sync was working fine for 14 months before this. When i sync my blackberry, the first thing it does is find a new configuration file, and while it is applying that configuration i get a VC++ runtime error. My software version is 4.2.2.14 and I am using that with a BB7130e. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you for your answer, however my problem seems to be unlike those thta most other people postabout run time errors. My error occurs before the sync even starts, so it can't be caused by corrupt or bad sync items (I have been through that in the past) My error occurs doing a dialoge that says "Applying new configuration".

It's a sign of poor programming when an error causes a program to dump out like this, any computer science student can tell you this could be prevented with tries and catches.

I would recommend you try and remove the program and download the desktop manager for RIM and then reinstall it.
