How can I sync a different users's contacts?
 

We're running BES 4.1.4 and I have a BB user with an 8703e. She's the executive administrative assistant to the CEO. She needs to have the CEO's contacts show up on her handheld. She says that she does not need to have her own on the device. Is there a way for the blackberry to pull down her mail and calendar, but pull down another person's contacts?

I've been searching but haven't found a definitive yes or no. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to say it but she can only wirelessly sync her own contacts and calendar. She could do a wired sync of the other persons calendar and contacts through Desktop Manager. That is her only option.

I don't know for exchange, but if you're using Domino servers, you can
Just open the profile in bes manager and go to "Pim Sync"
there you can enter the path of the contacts db

In Exchange you can only wirelessly sync with the default contacts/calendar/memo/tasks in the users mailbox. Anything has to be synced via Desktop Manager. Not sure if that will change with future versions of BES, I think it will at some point.
