Facebook notification emails question

Hi, Im getting all my emails on my blackberry, but for some reason my facebook notifications (requests, posts on walls, tagged in photos etc..) are coming to the blackberry facebook app but NOT to my emails in my blackberry. When I check my emails online they are there, but just not on the blackberry. Its strange because im getting all my other emails straight to the blackberry, except facebook. Anyone know a solution?

The emails are being intercepted by the facebook app.
So once the email hits your BB, the facebook app knows its a facebook notification and is shown in the app, removing the email itself from your blackberry inbox.

Oh ok, but is there any way to display the email on the bb as well as on the facebook app?

No, thats the point of the facebook app.

When you get a notification on you BB (the little Facebook icon) that is effectively your email, so you dont need an email as well.

I get facebook emails when I log into hotmail on my PC but not on my BB but I also do not get facebook notifications on my BB, so app doesnt work for me

Well I'm having issues with the Torch and FB. I used to have the emails intercepted and just a FB notification icon in the message inbox that I could open directly to FB. Now I'm getting an actual email that I open and have the comnments in email text.

This is not right.

in FB Options, there's a link for "Turn off all Facebook Notifications" which should disable the emails. However when I click the link it tries to connect to the server but fails with an error. Anyone else seeing this?

Yes, I get the error as well.
