OS6 on 9105
 

Is OS6 available on the 9105 if so has anyone upgraded and do you think its worthwhile as I am happy with OS5 but always looking for improvements.

Moved to the 9100 section.

There is an OS in beta right now. It was announced on BBLeaks a few days ago: Leaked: BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100 & 9105 OS 6.0.0.344 | BlackBerry Leaks

But a word of caution, if you are happy with how your BB works now and it is not broken, then I wouldn't try to fix it, especially with a Beta software package that may or may not be that great.

Thanks for the reply take it beta software not an official OS. Think I'll stick with what I got for now like you say if it aint broke don't fix it

hey everyone, i just upgraded to os 6, it works well but a little unstable and the os eats about 30-40 extra megs of ram i have about 60 meg left

its a good beta though and i will keep running it for a while

No problem. All works fine. I had some issues with the upgrade (which now I suspect was due to some corrupt data from my restore).

I like it a lot, and looking forward to the official release of OS 6 for the 9105.

here all my side buttons works but the are some apps that do not work well yet, we shall see when the official version comes out in 2011 lol

@magezn , talking about the applications that come preinstalled on the phone or install new applications?

applications i got from app world, so applications i installed on the phone like ubertwitter does not function properly, and i have a list but those are apps i use everyday so check your individual apps to make sure they function

but overall a solid 7/10
