Emails (sending & receiving) appearing twice in Messages
 

Hello,

Ive just got my 1st berry (7290) and im falling in love with it!

All my office emails can be read on the berry but I find it strange that each email is appearing twice (with a 5-10 mins interval) in the Messages application. Doesnt matter whether it's an email that Ive sent or that Ive received. But for the sms messages, it's working fine and appears only once.

Can anyone let me know how to get rid of this anomality?

The only thing I did with the emails is that Ive registered a new email (...@rogers.blackberry.net) but I dont think that this has anything to do with my office emails appearing twice.

I am not sure if this may help but go to the Bberry portal of your Provider and enter it with your User ID and password. Go to Options and deselect BCC. This is why you may be receiving e-mails twice. If this does not help, try and see if the e-mail is getting forwarded. This will also make it appear twice. There are a couple of options that will do this so play around the BBerry portal and it may help.

happenned to a lot of ppl. make sure that you did not set up your webclient to poll your account if your account is set to push email to you.

For those who might experience that in the future - I went on the BB web client, Profile and the Auto BCC option was NOT checked (by default) but nonetheless I clicked the Save button and got the message "Status: Message Forwarding has been disabled". And now I dont get the messages being forwarded twice to my BB.
