Q10 will not turn on
 

I posted on crackberry but need more eyes on this
help please i switch out my housing and now my phone won't turn on when you press the power button
I get the red light for about a second then it goes out.
if I press and hold the power button it will stay on maybe three seconds. any idea what might be wrong or is it bricked

It sounds like either you borked the housing switch, damaging a component when you did this, or else the new housing doesn't fit properly (manufacturing defect/poor design?) and the battery is not being held securely in place.

that is what I was thing as well.:x since I do get one flash of the red light.
I charged it all night and still nothing. the keyboard lights up but nothing else.
bummer it looked easy:cry: I put my housing back that didn't work either.
there's a local shop I'II stop in there and see what they say.:-(
