Can forensics recover data

Are forensics able to recover data such as txt, bbm messages, emails... if a security wipe as been performed on the bb.

I have read older posts but its now 2011, has anything not changed or improved in this area?

No. The BlackBerry uses flash memory and recovery from flash memory is iffy under perfect conditions. After a security wipe has been performed on a BlackBerry that data is truly gone.

The memory used in BlackBerrys is a matter of public record, and plenty of folks have tried to recover files from this type of memory with no success.

No one has hacked a Blackberry.
No one has recovered a wiped Blackberry.
