They are a scam and do not repair anything, but instead take your worn and broken pump and fill the pump drive unit with wheel bearing grease (to quiet the noise made from the broken parts inside) resulting in contamination of your entire HPLC or LC-MS flow path! Save hundreds of dollars $$$ off the cost!This factory part fits some of the Waters Alliance and Acquity analytical HPLC / UPLC systems with integrated degasser module which use the analytical specification, bottom mount, 2-chamber vacuum pump (6.7KPa / 50mm). Some also fit the standalone DG2 degassers too. Older Alliance and Acquity vacuum pump models with translucent top chambers, now discontinued by Waters, may have a different part # (i.e. 9000-0922, 9000-1022, 9000-1023...), but this is usually the replacement pump for most of them. Please send us the P/N of your broken vacuum pump and HPLC system model # if you want advice regarding compatibility. Many of these pumps look the same, but are in fact completely different in operation and only designed for use in specific systems (lots of people are buying the wrong vacuum pumps). Buyer\'s, not the seller, are fully responsible for insuring the part purchased is correct for their application.At this time, Waters parts website shows compatibility of this specific vacuum pump with many (not all) of the 2690/2695, 2790/2795 UPLC Alliance, DG2, BSM, QSM and Acquity Systems. You will save a lot of money in the long run if you have the system professionally serviced first, then buy only the parts that you actually need.
