Alexandrite Laser Head:The 755 nm wavelength is characterized by high melanin absorption which results in long-term permanent hair reduction as well as pigment lesion removal. The laser is comprised of two Alexandrite flashlamps that emit short intense bursts of white light to target melanin in the skin.
Nd:YAG Laser Head:The Nd:YAG is extremely safe for permanent hair reduction on individuals with dark skin types or with tanned skin. The 1064 nm wavelength is also ideal for leg and facial vein treatment. The Nd:YAG component uses mirrors to reflect and direct the 1064 nm light beam to the target treatment area.
Beam Combiner:The Apogee features a beam combiner which allows both the Alexandrite laser beam and YAG laser beam to be delivered at the same time.
